Quickstart

1. Open your crafting table — the recipe is unlocked automatically when you join the world.
2. Craft the Chainhook Chain using two vanilla Chains:

1. The item appears in the Tools creative tab.
2. Hover over it in your inventory to see its tooltip: "A sturdy chain link for grappling hooks."

Overview

Chainhook Chain adds a single craftable item — the Chainhook Chain — a sturdy chain link designed to be used as a component for grappling hooks. It stacks up to 64 per inventory slot, so you can carry a large supply without sacrificing much space.

What It Adds

The Chainhook Chain is tagged as an ingot, meaning it can substitute for ingots in any recipe that accepts the ingot item tag.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe is automatically unlocked for all players upon joining the world, so it will appear in your recipe book straight away. Craft it at any crafting table using two vanilla Chain items:

Chains are obtained by crafting with iron nuggets and iron ingots, or found in bastion remnant chests.

The Chainhook Chain serves as a crafting ingredient intended for use alongside grappling hook items. Stock up on them in bulk (up to 64 per slot) and keep them in your inventory ready to use in further recipes.
