Quickstart

1. Create a new world or explore an existing one—the Candy Cane Tundra biome generates naturally in cold, humid regions of the Overworld.
2. Look for a winter wonderland covered in pink-and-white Peppermint Snow, colorful candy cane trees, and festive decorations.
3. All blocks can be harvested and placed freely in Creative Mode, or mined with appropriate tools in Survival:
   • Use a shovel for Peppermint Snow
   • Use an axe for Candy Cane Trunks
   • Use shears or a Silk Touch tool for Frosted Conifer Leaves
4. Watch for Polar Bears roaming the biome!

The Candy Cane Tundra mod introduces a whimsical festive biome to your Minecraft world. This candy-themed frozen landscape replaces ordinary snow with sweet peppermint and features colorful candy cane trees in red, blue, and green varieties. It's a cheerful holiday destination perfect for building winter bases or gathering unique decorative materials.

How To Use

Finding the Biome

The Candy Cane Tundra generates in the Overworld in regions with cold temperatures and high humidity. Explore snowy areas or use the locate command:

/locate biome candy-cane-tundra-zwgoh3c6:candy_cane_tundra

Harvesting Blocks

All blocks in this biome drop themselves when broken with the correct tool:

• Peppermint Snow breaks quickly with any shovel and always drops itself
• Candy Cane Trunks (all colors) break fastest with an axe and can be oriented in different directions when placed, like vanilla logs
• Frosted Conifer Leaves require shears or a Silk Touch enchanted tool to collect; otherwise they drop nothing
• Peppermint Sprinkles can be broken by hand or any tool

Wildlife

Polar Bears spawn naturally throughout the Candy Cane Tundra in small groups of 2-5. They behave like vanilla Polar Bears—neutral unless you approach their cubs.

Crafting and Obtaining

All blocks in this mod are obtained by exploring the Candy Cane Tundra biome and harvesting them directly. There are no crafting recipes—simply venture into the biome and collect what you need for your festive builds!

Progression and Strategy

• Early Exploration: Bring a shovel and axe when searching for the biome to efficiently gather materials.
• Collecting Leaves: If you want Frosted Conifer Leaves for decoration, craft shears or bring a Silk Touch tool before harvesting.
• Building Projects: The colorful Candy Cane Trunks make excellent striped pillars and supports. Combine all three colors for rainbow-themed builds.
• Polar Bear Caution: Be mindful of Polar Bear cubs when exploring, as their parents will become aggressive if you get too close.
