This mod adds the Burrow Trader, a peculiar wandering merchant with tattered clothing and a bald head who roams the overworld trading useful items like food, torches, doors, and emeralds in exchange for common junk and who persistently remains in the world instead of despawning. Burrow Traders dig and expand connected underground homes with multi-room layouts, vertical shafts and furnished interiors—placing oak doors, red beds, torches, barrels, and crafting tables—and seal their surface entrances with dirt while reinforcing the areas around their beds and doors with sturdy dirt walls, floors, and ceilings that they will not break or replace. Their digging and trading behavior is improved so they restart digging more often, prefer connected expansions, reroute around blocked tunnels, preserve existing passages, and reliably open a villager-style trading interface when you interact with them.
