Description
.mcaddon file — it applies a Behavior Pack and Resource Pack to your world automatically.Bottomless Inventory removes the frustration of a full inventory by giving every player their own persistent, hidden vault. Ordinary stackable items — stone, wood, ore, food, arrows, and so on — flow seamlessly between your visible inventory and the vault without any player action. The vault survives world reloads, so nothing is ever lost. Special items (enchanted gear, named tools, potions, maps, written books, items with durability) are always kept as individual stacks in your normal inventory, preserving every unique property.
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Per-player vault | A private, unlimited storage pool for stackable items, tied to each individual player. |
| Automatic overflow | When visible slots are full, excess stackable items are pushed into the vault instead of being dropped or lost. |
| Auto-refill | When a stack in your visible inventory runs low or empties, the mod pulls more of that item back from the vault to top it up. |
| Inventory compaction & sorting | Your visible inventory is periodically tidied: partial stacks of the same item are merged and slots are reorganized. |
| Nearby item absorption | Dropped stackable items lying on the ground near you are automatically picked up into the vault even when your visible inventory is full. |
| Action-bar feedback | A subtle status line shows how many items are stored in overflow and confirms when absorption or sorting has occurred — no chat spam. |
| Special-item protection | Items with unique per-stack data (enchantments, custom names, durability, potion effects, map data, book content) are never merged into the vault, keeping their properties intact. |
Playing normally is all that's required. The mod runs automatically in the background for every player in the world.
There are no menus, no keybinds, and no commands needed. The system is entirely hands-free.
The vault is an invisible per-player storage layer. It tracks every type of plain stackable item as a count rather than as physical slots, so it has no practical size limit. The vault is saved with the world and persists through reloads, server restarts, and player disconnections.
While you move around, the mod scans the ground nearby for dropped stackable items. Eligible drops are pulled directly into the vault, bypassing the "inventory full" limitation entirely. The action bar briefly notes how many items were absorbed.
Items that carry unique data — enchanted tools, renamed items, items with remaining durability, potions, filled maps, written books — are treated as distinct stacks and stay in your normal inventory untouched. The vault only stores plain, interchangeable stackable items.
