Each in-game day floods the world with a fresh horde of ~1,000 of these enemies that grow stronger over time. Every 7th day triggers a Blood Moon, pushing their power to terrifying levels. The mod runs entirely automatically from the moment the pack is applied.

Every ~5 minutes the Evolution level increments. All zombies within range of a player are continuously refreshed with the current buff tier:

When a Blood Moon night arrives, a bold red chat message warns all players. During this event:
Early Days (Low Evolution) Zombies are manageable but numerous. Use this time to build a proper shelter — solid stone or deeper materials, no wooden walls. Seal every entrance at ground level.
Mid Evolution Speed and strength buffs accumulate. Ranged combat becomes essential. Keep an emergency escape route available since zombies will tunnel through your walls over time.
Blood Moon Nights Treat these as emergency events. Stay inside a reinforced structure, patch cobblestone bridges the zombies construct, and avoid open combat until dawn. The absorption buff means zombies absorb damage before their health is threatened.
