Apply both to your world before loading it.Blood Moon Purge is a survival overhaul that transforms days 10 through 100 into a relentless gauntlet. Hostile mob pressure rises to roughly 1000% of normal, no safe zone exists anywhere — not underground, not in the Nether, not in the End — and every night from Day 16 onward becomes a Blood Moon. The mod is entirely automatic; it tracks world days and adjusts the difficulty, announces phase changes, and applies effects without any player input.

No interaction is required. The mod runs entirely on world-day tracking. Here is what happens at each key milestone:
Multiple rounds of alarm sounds (raid horns, thunder, wither and evoker cries) play for all players. A red SERVER EMERGENCY ALERT title appears on screen and chat messages explain what is coming. Use this day to finish your last preparations.
Each night during the Purge (starting Day 16) triggers Blood Moon mode:
A THE PURGE HAS ENDED title and chat message broadcast to all players. Hostile spawn rates return to vanilla levels.
During the Purge, hostile mob spawning is amplified to approximately 1000% of normal. This applies in all three dimensions (Overworld, Nether, End) and ignores light levels, meaning mobs can appear even in well-lit areas.
Purge-active mobs are stronger than their base counterparts. Expect higher health, damage, or additional buffs depending on mob type.
On Blood Moon nights the following stack on top of base Purge pressure:
The mod explicitly targets every player in every dimension. Underground bunkers, Nether fortresses, and End islands all receive the same elevated spawn pressure. There is nowhere to hide.
Days 1 – 9 (Preparation Window) This is your only true safe window. Prioritize:
Days 10 – 15 (Early Purge) Full spawn pressure is active but Blood Moon nights have not yet started. Learn mob patterns and test your defenses while conditions are at their least extreme.
Days 16 – 100 (Blood Moon Purge) Every night becomes a Blood Moon. Consider:
Day 101+ (Aftermath) The Purge ends automatically. Hostile spawning returns to vanilla rates, giving you the chance to rebuild, explore, and recover.
