The overworld grows a custom Ruined British City biome in place of plains. Every hostile mob you encounter has been replaced by the Evolved British Zombie — an undead enemy that grows stronger, faster, and more dangerous with every passing day. Nights are blood moons, and the longer your world runs, the more mutated and lethal the horde becomes.

Every few seconds your action bar updates with three pieces of information:
Hold the Military Rifle and use it (right-click / tap the use button) to fire. It targets the nearest non-player entity within 28 blocks and deals 12 damage instantly. An explosion sound plays on each shot. The rifle has no ammo cost — it fires on use alone.
These are the only hostile mob you will encounter. They spawn in groups of 2–4 in low-light conditions on the surface and underground, exclusively in the Ruined British City biome. They can climb, break doors, and pick up dropped weapons and armor. Killing one drops 0–2 rotten flesh, and there is a small chance of an iron ingot, carrot, or potato if you land the killing blow.


The Military Body Armor is given to you in your starting safe house. It is not craftable — protect it carefully.
Ruined Asphalt and Rubble Soil drop themselves when mined and can be collected from the Ruined British City biome.
The evolution percentage displayed on your HUD determines how powerful every nearby zombie is. Buffs are applied continuously.

During nighttime (blood moon), all zombies also gain Regeneration, making them extremely difficult to whittle down. The higher the evolution %, the stronger the Strength and Speed buffs applied.
Evolved British Zombies can spawn as baby variants — smaller and faster than adults, worth more XP on kill.
Baby Evolved British Zombies can mount adult Evolved British Zombies, creating jockey pairs that move with increased speed.
Any vanilla hostile mob (skeleton, spider, creeper, enderman, witch, pillager, or vindicator) that appears near a player is immediately replaced by an Evolved British Zombie, keeping the horde themed at all times.
Early game (Days 1–30): Zombies are manageable but ramp up quickly. Use your starting rifle and sword to clear the immediate area around your safe house. Stock up on food and arrows. Mine Ruined Asphalt and Rubble Soil for building materials.
Mid game (Days 31–66): Evolution briefly plateaus, giving you a window to explore, find loot in ruined shopfronts, and fortify your position. The iron-bar safe house walls are a good template — build out from there.
Days 67+: Zombies gain Resistance. Sustained combat becomes significantly harder. Prioritise the Military Rifle for ranged damage. Avoid prolonged night fights — blood moon Regeneration means zombies can outhealing your sword damage.
Days 99–110 (spike phase): A particularly dangerous stretch. Stay indoors at night.
Day 500+: The 999% evolution state gives every zombie near-maximum Strength, Speed, and a massive Health Boost. This is effectively end-game difficulty. Prepare powerful weapons, full armor, and a well-defended base before this threshold arrives.
Finding the biome: If you leave your starting city, use /locate biome com_blood_moon_britain_ai2otl3j:ruined_british_city to navigate back to the apocalypse zone where Evolved British Zombies naturally spawn.
