Blockside Metropolis

Quickstart

1. Load a world with Blockside Metropolis active and explore to find its city biome. Wander the roads and look through the skyscrapers, houses, shops, and petrol stations.
2. In Creative mode, search your inventory for City Asphalt or Urban Concrete to place them in your own builds. They’re construction blocks.
3. To meet the Metro Scavenger, use its spawn egg from Creative inventory. You can also summon one with /summon com_blockside_metropolis_wb7keck7:metro_scavenger. Keep your weapon ready: it’s hostile.

Overview

Blockside Metropolis is a city-themed biome and building set for exploring and building in a metropolis. Its streets and buildings provide the setting, while Metro Scavengers make the city dangerous—especially in dark areas.

What It Adds

• A city biome with skyscrapers, houses, roads, shops, and petrol stations.
• City Asphalt and Urban Concrete building blocks.
• Metro Scavenger, a hostile undead mob, and its spawn egg.

How To Use

• Explore the city to take in its buildings and streets, or use the two city blocks in your own construction.
• In Creative mode, search for City Asphalt, Urban Concrete, or Metro Scavenger Spawn Egg in your inventory.
• Place the spawn egg to spawn a Metro Scavenger. It can also be summoned with the command in Quickstart.

Crafting And Obtaining

City Asphalt and Urban Concrete are available in the Creative inventory under construction blocks. No crafting recipes are listed for this content.

Metro Scavengers spawn naturally in the city biome in groups of 2–4, on the surface or underground, in low light on Easy through Hard difficulty. Use the spawn egg or summon command to spawn one directly.

Abilities And Mechanics

Metro Scavengers have 20 health and deal 3 damage with a melee attack. They target players and can attack villagers and other creatures. They can climb, pass through doors, and sometimes break them. They burn in daylight and may pick up dropped items, including weapons and armor.

If one remains underwater, it transforms into a Drowned. Defeated scavengers drop 0–2 rotten flesh; player or pet kills can also yield a small chance of an iron ingot, carrot, or potato, and a separate chance of an emerald.

Progression And Strategy

Bring a weapon and armor when exploring after dark: scavengers may appear in groups, and some can equip gear they pick up. Check shadowed streets and underground spaces, and take advantage of daylight when dealing with them. For building, use City Asphalt for roads and Urban Concrete for city-style structures.
