Description
You can also summon the mobs directly:

Blink Creeper adds five stone-like hostile creatures inspired by statues that move when unseen. A mob that has a clear view of you can freeze it by looking at it. When you look away, lose sight of it, or blink, it can advance and attack.
A mob can be frozen by any nearby Survival player who is looking at it. This makes multiplayer encounters safer when players cover different directions, but one missed statue can still attack from behind.
| Mob | Behavior when you look away |
|---|---|
| Blink Creeper | Moves toward you and begins its fuse when it gets close enough to explode. |
| Blink Zombie | Advances and attacks at close range. |
| Blink Spider | Moves toward you, pounces from a distance, and poisons you on a successful close attack. |
| Blink Skeleton | Moves into position, shoots from range, and attacks with its bow at close range. |
| Blink Enderman | Teleports behind you when it cannot attack from close range, then strikes when near. |
All five mobs have custom stone-like appearances. Player attacks make them develop visible cracks instead of using the usual red damage flash.
A continuous stare eventually triggers an automatic blink after about 20 seconds. The blink lasts roughly one second, during which the mob is no longer frozen by your gaze. Use short glances instead of staring indefinitely.
Keep your crosshair on the mob whenever it is not attacking. When you need to move, turn away only briefly, then look back to stop it again.
While frozen, these creatures hold their position and rotation. They also cannot be pushed or knocked back by normal means. This prevents you from easily shoving a statue away while keeping it under observation.
The spawn eggs can be used in Creative mode:
The mobs can also appear rarely through existing structure spawners:
The Blink Creeper only approaches while unseen. Its stone footsteps can be heard while it is moving, especially when it is nearby.
At approximately three blocks away, it starts its fuse. Looking at it freezes its body, but does not safely cancel a fuse while you remain within explosive range. Move away to reset the fuse, or destroy it before the explosion.
A Blink Creeper can only be damaged by a player using a pickaxe. Each successful pickaxe hit advances its crack stage. The fourth hit breaks the creature.
The Blink Zombie walks toward its nearest Survival target while unseen and delivers melee attacks at close range. It does not burn in daylight and is not damaged by fire.
Its stone footsteps provide an audio warning while it advances. Watch it to stop its movement, then attack between glances.
The Blink Spider advances while unseen and can pounce from up to about eight blocks away. At close range it attacks and applies Poison for four seconds.
Turn toward it to stop a pounce or approach. If it has already reached you, keep it in view while backing away and preparing an attack.
The Blink Skeleton carries a bow. While unseen, it:
Breaking line of sight can prevent an immediate shot, but turning away also allows the skeleton to reposition. Fire does not damage it.
The Blink Enderman is silent and has considerably more health than the other variants. When unseen and outside melee range, it teleports to a position behind you rather than walking normally.
It attacks at close range and can strike for heavy damage. Keep checking behind you, and use walls or enclosed spaces to limit where it can reappear. Fire does not damage it.
Player attacks progressively crack the Blink mobs. Their stone damage state persists as they take hits, and the fourth successful player hit destroys the statue.
The Blink Creeper specifically requires a pickaxe. The Blink Zombie, Blink Spider, Blink Skeleton, and Blink Enderman can be attacked normally by players. Fire does not damage the stone variants.
There are no crafting recipes for the Blink mobs or their spawn eggs.
Use Creative spawn eggs, summon commands, or search dungeon, abandoned mineshaft, and trial-chamber spawners for rare encounters.
