Blast Launcher

Quickstart

Craft a Blast Launcher with , or find it in the Combat tab in Creative mode. Hold it and use it (right-click by default) to toss an explosive projectile in the direction you’re aiming. It explodes when it hits something, damaging nearby foes without breaking blocks.

The launcher is reusable and needs no ammunition. Each use has a one-second cooldown. Try it against a group of enemies in an open area, and keep your distance from the blast.

Overview

The Blast Launcher is a single-use-at-a-time weapon that lobs a grenade-like projectile. Its explosion can hurt entities but does not damage terrain.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft one Blast Launcher from two iron ingots, one TNT, two redstone dust, one crossbow, and one stick. Arrange them as shown:

How To Use

1. Put the launcher in your hand and aim.
2. Use it to throw a projectile.
3. The projectile explodes on impact. Wait for the cooldown before firing again.

Abilities And Mechanics

• The impact triggers an explosion with a strength of 2.5.
• Explosions do not break blocks.
• The launcher does not consume ammunition, and the item itself is not used up.
