Description
Berlin Bunker Bloodmoon: survive a relentless nightly Blood Moon siege of Bunker Wardens.
Mod Wiki
Berlin Bunker Bloodmoon
Quickstart
- Craft a Blood Moon Signal using the recipe below.
- Keep it in your hotbar and use it any time to check whether the siege is active and how many Bunker Wardens are nearby.
- When night falls, stay alert — Bunker Wardens will start closing in on you.
- Fight them off, loot their drops, and survive until dawn breaks.
Overview
Every night now belongs to the Bunker Wardens. This mod replaces the usual quiet nighttime threats with a relentless, coordinated siege: as soon as the sky turns dark, common hostile mobs near you vanish and are replaced by waves of Bunker Wardens that hunt you down until sunrise. It's a survival gauntlet — hole up, fight back, and make it to dawn.
What It Adds
- Bunker Warden — a tough, undead humanoid enemy that spawns in numbers during the night and actively hunts players.
- Blood Moon Signal — a craftable tool that reports the current siege status and how many Wardens are stalking you.
- A nightly "Blood Moon" event that takes over normal hostile mob spawning with waves of Bunker Wardens.
How To Use
- Craft the Blood Moon Signal from redstone, a compass, and an iron ingot (see recipe above).
- Use the Signal (right-click / use item) at any time to see:
- Whether the Blood Moon is currently active or "standing by" for the next night.
- How many Bunker Wardens are near you.
- Watch the on-screen action bar during the night — it tracks how many Wardens are currently active around you (up to 4 at a time per player).
- When dawn breaks, the action bar will let you know the siege has ended and you can check the Signal again to prepare for the next night.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Nightly Siege: Once night falls, common hostile mobs (zombies, skeletons, creepers, spiders, endermen, witches, slimes, phantoms, and more) are cleared out near you and replaced by Bunker Wardens.
- Warden Behavior: Bunker Wardens are aggressive melee fighters that actively seek out and chase players, can open doors, and hit hard. They have substantial health and deal solid melee damage, making groups of them a real threat.
- Escalating Pressure: The mod keeps spawning fresh Wardens near you throughout the night (up to 4 within your vicinity at once), so retreating or hiding only slows the siege — it doesn't stop it.
- Dawn Relief: Once the night ends, the siege stops, Wardens stop spawning, and normal mob spawning is expected to resume until the next Blood Moon.
- A message announces the start of each Blood Moon night to all players in the world.
Progression And Strategy
- Build defenses: Since Wardens actively hunt and can open doors, fortify shelters with doors, walls, or traps rather than relying on simple hiding.
- Fight for loot: Defeating a Bunker Warden drops iron ingots, and rarer chances of redstone, gold nuggets, or coal — useful resupply during a long siege. There's also a small chance a defeated Warden drops another Blood Moon Signal, letting you keep your supply going without recrafting.
- Manage your nights: Use the Blood Moon Signal each evening to confirm the siege has begun and to keep tabs on how many Wardens are closing in, so you can decide whether to hold your ground or retreat to a stronger position.
- Survive to dawn: The core loop is endurance — outlast the night's assault, loot the aftermath, and prepare defenses before the next Blood Moon arrives.
