Quickstart

• In Creative, search the inventory for Bedrock Sword, equip it, and hit a mob to try its 20-damage hit effect.
• To craft one, use a stonecutter to turn a bedrock block into Breakable Bedrock, then stonecut that into a Bedrock Sword: → . You can also craft the sword from two Bedrock Ingots and a stick: .
• Attack as you normally would in Bedrock Edition. Each successful sword hit triggers the 20-damage effect.

Overview

Bedrock Blade adds a powerful sword, a set of bedrock tools, a Bedrock Spear, and several bedrock-themed building blocks. Bedrock blocks and ingots are the materials used to make the gear.

What It Adds

How To Use

Equip the Bedrock Sword and hit an entity to trigger its damage effect. Use the Bedrock tools as you would their regular counterparts. The Bedrock Pickaxe is also the tool for mining the mod’s bedrock-style blocks.

Breakable Bedrock, Chiseled Bedrock, and Polished Bedrock are slow to mine: each takes 50 seconds to break by mining and has high resistance to explosions. Place them as building blocks or use them as materials where recipes allow.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipes that use bedrock require you to have a bedrock block. In ordinary survival, bedrock is not normally obtainable, so these recipes are most readily explored in Creative or in a world where bedrock is available. Use a stonecutter for the following conversions:

Progression And Strategy

Start with a bedrock block, then use the stonecutter to make Breakable Bedrock or Bedrock Ingots. Turn Breakable Bedrock directly into a sword, or use ingots to craft the sword and the other equipment. Try the Bedrock Sword first to experience its 20-damage hit effect.
