Banana Split Tundra

Quickstart

1. Find the Banana Split Tundra in the Overworld, or use the following command to teleport to the nearest one:

   /bananasplittundra
   

   This command requires command permission and searches within 12,800 blocks. If no tundra is found in that range, the command reports a failure.

2. Explore the tundra and mine its dessert terrain. Vanilla Ice Cream forms the biome’s surface, while Strawberry Ice Cream and Chocolate Chip Ore can also be placed and mined.

3. Mine Chocolate Chip Ore to obtain 1–3 Bananas per block. You can also spawn a Banana Bunny, which drops a Banana when defeated.

4. Craft Banana Split equipment from your Bananas. Start with a pickaxe for mining and then make armor to gain dessert-themed abilities.

5. Try the mobs using their spawn eggs, or summon them directly:

   /summon banana-split-tundra-6ru3upiv:banana_bunny
   /summon banana-split-tundra-6ru3upiv:sundae_creeper
   

6. Equip the armor pieces in their matching slots. Each piece grants its own ability, so you do not need the complete set to benefit from it.

Overview

Banana Split Tundra adds a dessert-themed Overworld biome, ice-cream terrain, Banana-based equipment, and two custom mobs. The biome features a frozen landscape made from Vanilla Ice Cream and is home to the peaceful Banana Bunny and hostile Sundae Creeper.

The Banana Split Tundra creative-mode tab contains the mod’s main blocks, items, tools, armor, and spawn eggs.

What It Adds

Blocks

All three blocks are mineable with a pickaxe. The Banana Split Pickaxe mines these blocks especially quickly.

Items

• Banana — Food and the main ingredient for Banana Split equipment.
• Melted Banana — Food made by smelting a Banana.
• Banana Split Pickaxe — Dessert mining tool with an additional melee damage bonus.
• Banana Split Sword — Dessert weapon with a strong additional melee damage bonus.
• Banana Split Helmet
• Banana Split Chestplate
• Banana Split Leggings
• Banana Split Boots

Mobs

• Banana Bunny — A gentle rabbit-like creature that drops a Banana.
• Sundae Creeper — A hostile creeper variant that drops Chocolate Chip Ore.

Spawn eggs for both mobs are available in the Banana Split Tundra creative tab.

How To Use

Finding the Tundra

The Banana Split Tundra generates as an Overworld biome. To search manually, use:

/locate biome banana-split-tundra-6ru3upiv:banana_split_tundra

For a quicker trip, use:

/bananasplittundra

The teleport command places you at the surface of the nearest matching biome.

Mining Dessert Blocks

Use a pickaxe to mine Vanilla Ice Cream, Strawberry Ice Cream, and Chocolate Chip Ore. The Banana Split Pickaxe has a mining speed of 10 on all three blocks.

• Vanilla Ice Cream drops Vanilla Ice Cream.
• Strawberry Ice Cream drops Strawberry Ice Cream.
• Chocolate Chip Ore drops 1–3 Bananas.

Spawning the Mobs

Use a spawn egg on a block to create a mob. You can also use the summon commands:

/summon banana-split-tundra-6ru3upiv:banana_bunny

/summon banana-split-tundra-6ru3upiv:sundae_creeper

Banana Bunnies are peaceful. Sundae Creepers are hostile and behave as creepers in combat.

Eating the Foods

Eat Bananas directly to restore hunger. Smelt them first to make the more filling Melted Banana.

Crafting And Obtaining

Bananas

Obtain Bananas by:

• Mining Chocolate Chip Ore, which drops 1–3 Bananas.
• Defeating a Banana Bunny, which drops one Banana.

Melted Banana

Smelt a Banana in a furnace:

A Melted Banana restores more hunger than a regular Banana.

Banana Split Pickaxe

Craft the Banana Split Pickaxe with Bananas and Sticks:

Craft the Banana Split Sword with Bananas and a Stick:

Banana Split Armor

Each armor piece is crafted from Bananas.

Abilities And Mechanics

Armor Perks

Each piece grants an effect while it is equipped:

The effects are maintained while the corresponding armor pieces are worn and end naturally after the armor is removed.

The armor’s protection values are:

Banana Split Pickaxe

The Banana Split Pickaxe:

• Mines Vanilla Ice Cream, Strawberry Ice Cream, and Chocolate Chip Ore at high speed.
• Deals an additional 4 damage when hitting an enemy.
• Loses durability when used in combat.

Banana Split Sword

The Banana Split Sword:

• Deals an additional 7 damage when hitting an enemy.
• Loses durability when used in combat.

Dessert Mob Drops

Progression And Strategy

1. Travel to the Banana Split Tundra with /bananasplittundra or locate it in the Overworld.
2. Collect Bananas from Chocolate Chip Ore and Banana Bunnies.
3. Craft the Banana Split Pickaxe to mine dessert blocks efficiently.
4. Make the Banana Split Sword for stronger combat.
5. Craft armor according to the ability you need:
   • Use the helmet for exploring dark areas.
   • Use the chestplate around fire and lava.
   • Use the leggings for faster travel.
   • Use the boots for improved jumping and mobility.
6. Complete the armor set for protection while keeping all four individual perks active.
