Azure Trial Trident

Quickstart

1. Craft the Azure Trial Trident by combining every tier of vanilla sword in a crafting table.
2. Equip it in your main hand or offhand.
3. Fight! Every kill you land while wielding it counts toward your permanent Trial progress.
4. Survive the early trial: until you reach 10 kills, the trident keeps knocking you down to one heart. Push through carefully — kill mobs, don't die.
5. Keep fighting past 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 kills to unlock healing, permanent extra hearts, and eventually god-tier combat buffs.

Overview

The Azure Trial Trident is a single, immensely powerful melee weapon built by fusing the strength of every sword material into one blade. It never breaks, hits devastatingly hard, and wraps its wielder in a permanent, personal "elemental trial" — a test that punishes the unproven but richly rewards those who push through it.

Holding the trident also wraps you in an ominous blue mist and thick, deep-blue fog that only you can see, marking you as someone undergoing the Trial.

What It Adds

• Azure Trial Trident — an unbreakable, netherite-tier melee weapon with enormous attack power and mining speed.
• Trial Weather — a personal visual effect (fog and floating mist particles) that surrounds you while the trident is in either hand.
• Trial Kill Tracking — a hidden, permanent scoreboard that counts every kill you get with the trident, tied to your character and saved across sessions.
• Milestone Rewards — healing, permanent health boosts, and endgame buffs unlocked as your trial kill count climbs.

Abilities And Mechanics

Combat

• Every hit sets the target on fire, knocks it back with a gust of force, and slows it heavily — a taste of fire, wind, and water in a single strike.
• The blade never loses durability, no matter how much you fight or mine with it.
• Mining speed is drastically increased while holding it.

The Trial (Early Game Risk)

• Until you land 10 kills with the trident, simply carrying it keeps forcing your health down to one heart every couple of seconds. You are vulnerable during this stage — treat early trial kills as a survival challenge, not a free power fantasy.
• Each kill (of any dying creature you finish off) permanently increases your trial kill count, saved even after logging out or restarting the world.

Trial Weather

• While either hand holds the trident, a deep blue fog closes in around you and faint blue mist particles drift through the air nearby. This is purely visual and personal — it doesn't affect the actual weather or other players, and disappears the instant you put the trident away.

Progression And Strategy

Your trial kill count is permanent per character and unlocks rewards at key milestones:

Strategy tips:

• The first 10 kills are the hardest part — fight weak mobs first and avoid unnecessary risks, since one heart leaves no margin for error.
• Once you pass 30 kills, the trident becomes almost pure upside: massive damage, no durability loss, and stacking permanent health and combat buffs.
• Because progress is stored per player and survives death and relogging, you can safely take breaks mid-trial without losing your progress.
