Craft the Azure Cataclysm at a crafting table using the recipe below, equip it in your hand, and hit an entity to trigger its blast. Try it somewhere you don’t mind demolishing: the explosion breaks blocks.

Overview

Azure Cataclysm is a powerful sword built around a huge explosion on every successful hit. Its blasts can reshape the area around your target, so use it with care near builds.

What It Adds

• Azure Cataclysm: A sword with 39 attack damage and 5,000 durability.
• Explosive hits: Hitting an entity creates a strength-100 explosion at that entity’s location. The explosion breaks blocks and does not cause fire.

How To Use

Hold the sword and attack an entity. Each landed hit triggers the explosion at the target, so the surrounding terrain may be destroyed as well.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft one Azure Cataclysm at a crafting table. The recipe uses amethyst shards, lapis lazuli, diamonds, TNT, and obsidian; the layout is shown above.

Abilities And Mechanics

The blast is centered on the hit entity, not on the player. It is exceptionally destructive and can affect a large area. The sword is enchantable as a sword.

Progression And Strategy

There is no separate progression system. Keep the sword for situations where its destructive power is useful, and fight away from structures or terrain you want to preserve.
