Quickstart

1. Explore the Overworld for the Fall Forest biome. Chop Dapplewood trees to collect logs; an axe is useful for wood.
2. Turn a log into four planks with .
3. Use the planks for building: make slabs, stairs, or signs using the recipes below.
4. Break Dapplewood Leaves to seek saplings. Plant a sapling in a suitable spot to grow another Dapplewood tree.
5. For decoration, place Red Shrubs on suitable ground and Shelf Mushrooms on the side of a log.

In Creative Mode, find natural items in Natural Blocks and the wood building pieces in Building Blocks.

Overview

Autumn Dapplewood adds a Fall Forest biome and a Dapplewood wood set, along with autumnal ground cover and plants. Gather materials in the biome, or use them to decorate builds.

What It Adds

• Fall Forest: a new Overworld biome with Fall Forest Floor as its surface.
• Dapplewood: logs, leaves, saplings, planks, slabs, stairs, and signs.
• Forest details: Fall Forest Floor, Dapplewood Leaf Litter, Red Shrubs, and Shelf Mushrooms.

How To Use

• Chop Dapplewood Logs for wood and break Dapplewood Leaves for a 12% chance of a sapling drop.
• Plant Dapplewood Saplings to grow Dapplewood trees.
• Place Dapplewood Slabs and Stairs like other building pieces. Place a Dapplewood Sign and interact with it to write on it.
• Place Dapplewood Leaf Litter as a thin ground covering. Fall Forest Floor and Leaf Litter are shovel-mineable.
• Red Shrubs are ground plants. Shelf Mushrooms can be placed on a horizontal side of a log; they need a log block beside them to stay in place.
