Arachnid Web Hand

Quickstart

Craft the Arachnid Web Hand, then hold it and use it (right-click by default) while aiming at a block within about 24 blocks. A successful grapple launches you toward the block; your existing momentum is preserved, so try aiming upward or chaining grapples to swing through the world.

Overview

The Arachnid Web Hand is a single-stack grappling item. It gives you a burst of movement toward a block rather than leaving a hanging web or tether.

How To Use

• Aim at a block with a clear path to it, then use the item. It only grapples when your aim hits a block; fluids are not grapple targets.
• Each successful grapple adds forward motion and a small upward boost. It does not replace your current momentum.
• After a successful use, wait about 1.75 seconds before grappling again.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft one Arachnid Web Hand at a crafting table using the recipe shown above. In Creative mode, you can also find it in the Combat inventory tab.

Abilities And Mechanics

The hand checks for a block up to 24 blocks away in the direction you are looking. Use nearby walls, ceilings, or other block surfaces as grapple points to redirect your movement.

Progression And Strategy

Try aiming at higher blocks to gain height, or alternate grapple points while moving to build a smooth swinging path. Plan your next target during the brief cooldown.
