Description:
Anglo Gaul Arsenal Pantry adds two rival factions' worth of gear to your world: four melee weapons and four food items, all craftable at a crafting table from vanilla materials. The British side focuses on holding the line — slowing enemies and boosting your own defenses on every hit. The French side rewards aggressive play — gaining speed yourself while weakening every enemy you strike. Pair faction foods with matching weapons for a coordinated playstyle.

All items are crafted at a crafting table. No special stations are needed.

Every time you land a hit with either British weapon, two effects trigger instantly:
This makes British weapons excellent for crowd control and defensive brawls where you need to absorb hits while keeping enemies pinned.
Every hit with a French weapon triggers:
French weapons suit an offensive hit-and-run style: strike fast, debuff your opponent, then use the speed boost to stay ahead.
All food effects apply immediately on consumption. British Tea is unique in that it can be consumed even when your hunger bar is full, making it easy to keep Haste topped up at all times. French Cheese eats noticeably faster than standard food, making it a quick mid-combat heal option.
Early game: Start with British Tea (glass bottle + sugar + oak leaves) — it's cheap, stackable to 16, and grants Haste, which speeds up all your tool use and attacks immediately. Pair it with a British Pike for an early iron weapon with crowd-control on hit.
Mid game: Upgrade to the British Broadsword for higher damage while keeping the same Resistance-on-hit defensive benefit. On the French side, the French Rapier has the highest enchantability (15) of all four weapons, making it the best candidate for sword enchantments if you want a precision powerhouse.
Combat combos: Eat Fish and Chips before a tough fight for 8 nutrition + Resistance, then swing a British weapon to stack more Resistance on hit — you can maintain near-continuous damage reduction in extended fights. Alternatively, open with a French Baguette for Speed, then switch to a French Halberd (the highest damage weapon at 8) to keep stacking Speed and Weakness on a boss or player.
Faction mixing: Nothing stops you from eating British food and wielding a French weapon. Mix and match based on the situation — Resistance from Fish and Chips with Speed from a French Rapier is a viable aggressive-defensive hybrid.
