Amethyst Arsenal

Quickstart

1. Gather amethyst shards, diamonds, and an echo shard, then craft an Amethyst Core — it's the key ingredient for every tool in this pack.
2. Use the core to craft the Amethyst Spear, your main weapon.
3. Attack hostile mobs with the spear to build up Resonance charge (watch the action bar).
4. Once Resonance is fully charged, use the spear (right-click / trigger item use) to unleash a Resonance Burst that knocks back nearby hostile mobs.
5. Craft the Amethyst Shovel and Amethyst Hoe with the same core for upgraded digging and tilling tools.

Overview

Amethyst Arsenal adds a small set of amethyst-infused tools built around a shared crafting component, the Amethyst Core. The centerpiece is the Amethyst Spear, a melee weapon with a unique charge-and-release mechanic: strike enemies to build up magical resonance, then unleash a shockwave that knocks back everything hostile around you.

Start by crafting the Amethyst Core, which is required for every other item in this set.

Once you have Amethyst Cores, craft the tools:

Abilities And Mechanics

Resonance Charge: The Amethyst Spear tracks a personal Resonance meter (0 to 10) for whoever is holding it. While the spear is equipped in your main hand, an action bar display shows your current charge, such as "5/10", or "READY — use to burst" when fully charged.

• Charging: Landing melee hits on any target with the spear increases your Resonance by 1 (up to the cap of 10), accompanied by a chime sound.
• Releasing: Once Resonance reaches 10, use the spear's item action to trigger a Resonance Burst. This launches a knockback shockwave that pushes back all hostile mobs within 6 blocks of you, then resets your Resonance to 0.
• If you try to use the burst before reaching full charge, the spear will remind you that it needs more resonance — keep fighting to charge it up.

The spear also functions as a solid melee weapon on its own, dealing strong damage even without triggering the burst.

The Amethyst Shovel and Amethyst Hoe behave as upgraded versions of their vanilla counterparts, offering improved dig/till speed and bonus melee damage compared to standard tools.

Progression And Strategy

Focus on getting enough amethyst shards, diamonds, and an echo shard early to unlock the Amethyst Core, since it gates access to the entire arsenal. The spear rewards aggressive, sustained melee combat — chain hits on tougher mobs or groups of monsters to charge Resonance quickly, then save the burst for moments when you're surrounded, using the knockback to create space and control a fight. The shovel and hoe are useful side-grades for players who want faster utility tools while adventuring with the rest of the set.
