All Terrain Cruiser

Quickstart

1. Open a crafting table and craft the All Terrain Cruiser.
2. Hold it and use it on the side or top of a block. The cruiser appears beside the targeted block and automatically seats you.
3. Drive with your normal movement controls. Look where you want to aim.
4. Tap/use while mounted, or press Jump, to fire the forward-mounted Cruiser Launcher. The action bar displays its ready state and cooldown.
5. Crouch/sneak to dismount.

The placer item is not consumed, so you can use it again after dismounting.

Overview

The All Terrain Cruiser is a player-controlled, single-seat vehicle built for traveling across varied terrain. It uses normal ground movement, can path over water, and avoids damage blocks while navigating.

The cruiser automatically faces the direction you are looking when placed and forces a third-person riding view for easier driving.

How To Use

Placing the Cruiser

Hold the All Terrain Cruiser and use it on a block. The vehicle spawns next to the face you target and automatically mounts you as the driver.

You can also obtain the placer directly in Creative mode. For commands, use:

/give @s com_all_terrain_cruiser_u6cwfvx6:my_vehicle_placer

Driving

While seated, use your usual movement controls to steer and travel. The cruiser is controlled from the driver's seat and has room for one player.

The vehicle can travel over water and is configured to avoid blocks that cause damage.

Dismounting

Use the normal crouch or sneak control to leave the cruiser. Your armor, held item, and other equipment are restored when you dismount.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the All Terrain Cruiser at a crafting table using iron, redstone, glass, a minecart, and leather.

The vehicle entity can also be summoned with:

/summon com_all_terrain_cruiser_u6cwfvx6:my_vehicle

Abilities And Mechanics

Cruiser Launcher

The cruiser fires a vanilla arrow in the direction you are looking.

• Trigger: Tap/use while mounted or press Jump
• Projectile: Arrow
• Ammo: No arrows are required from your inventory
• Cooldown: 10 ticks, or 0.5 seconds
• HUD: Shows Tap: Cruiser Launcher when ready and displays the remaining cooldown after firing

Aim by looking toward your target before activating the launcher.

Vehicle Durability

The cruiser has 40 health. It is pushable and can be named.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft the cruiser early when you need a fast way to explore mixed terrain.
• Use water routes to bypass difficult ground travel.
• Keep your view aimed at approaching mobs or targets before firing.
• Watch the action bar for the launcher cooldown instead of repeatedly pressing the trigger.
• Place the cruiser facing your intended travel direction so you can start driving immediately.
