    Description:

This mod adds the Void Altar Villager, a mysterious End-dwelling villager with pale endstone skin and flowing purple robes that trails swirling portal particles and naturally appears inside End City structures; these supernatural villagers are tougher and faster than normal villagers, with high health, increased movement speed, and the ability to teleport away with eerie Enderman-like sounds when threatened, though they are vulnerable to water and rain which harm them and provoke short teleports to find dry ground. A Nitwit variation with simpler purple robes and glowing purple eyes also appears, and adults now often spawn with a persistent baby companion: baby Void Altar Villagers wear a simpler pale robe texture with no merchant belt, cannot trade and instead follow nearby adults, and Void Altar Villager breeding produces these modded babies rather than vanilla children.

    Mod Wiki

    Void Altar Villager

    Quickstart

    1. Find one in The End — explore any End City structure. A Void Altar Villager spawns inside once you approach close enough to load the city. Look for a pale-skinned figure in deep purple robes surrounded by swirling portal particles. Adults often have a small baby companion trailing behind them.
    2. Or use a Spawn Egg — in Creative mode, grab the Void Altar Villager Spawn Egg from your inventory and right-click any solid surface to summon one instantly.
    3. Contain it before threats arrive — when endangered, it teleports away with an Enderman-like sound. Fence it in or trap it in a boat before any hostile mobs get close.
    4. Keep it away from water and rain — contact with water or rain damages it and triggers desperate teleports to dry ground. Always shelter it under a roof.

    Overview

Void Altar Villager adds a single mysterious mob: the Void Altar Villager, an ancient End-dwelling resident with pale Endstone-toned skin and deep purple robes trailing swirling portal particles. It is tougher and faster than any ordinary villager, escapes danger by teleporting like an Enderman, and naturally inhabits End City structures in The End. A Nitwit variation also exists, and adults regularly spawn with a baby companion that follows them closely.

    What It Adds

    ContentDetails
Void Altar Villager (Adult)New mob; spawns naturally in End Cities and via spawn egg
Void Altar Villager (Baby)Spawns alongside adults; follows nearby adults; cannot trade
Void Altar Villager (Nitwit)Natural variation (~1-in-6 chance); unique purple robe and glowing purple eyes
Void Altar Villager Spawn EggAvailable in the Creative inventory

    How To Use

    • Natural discovery: Enter The End and locate an End City. When you approach, the game checks whether a Void Altar Villager is already present; if none exists, one spawns inside the structure. Any spawn has roughly a 1-in-6 chance of being a Nitwit, and adults often come paired with a baby.
    • Creative spawning: Use the Void Altar Villager Spawn Egg from your Creative inventory and right-click a surface to place one. Keep spawning to eventually get the Nitwit variant or a baby.
    • Trading: Right-click an adult (non-baby) Void Altar Villager to open its trade menu. Babies cannot trade.
    • Containment: Enclose the villager with fences or trap it in a boat before any hostile mobs are nearby, so it cannot teleport away or off a ledge.
    • Breeding: Two adult Void Altar Villagers can breed like normal villagers. Their offspring will always be a baby Void Altar Villager — never a vanilla villager child.

    Abilities And Mechanics

    Stats

    • Health: 30 points (15 hearts) — twice the durability of a standard villager.
    • Movement speed: Significantly faster than a normal villager.

    Particle Aura

Purple portal particles continuously swirl around the mob's body at all times. The effect is always visible to nearby players.

    Baby Companions

Adult Void Altar Villagers frequently spawn with a persistent baby companion. Babies wear a simpler pale robe with no merchant belt. They:

    • Cannot trade — right-clicking a baby does nothing.
    • Follow the nearest adult within about 16 blocks, pathfinding toward them continuously.
    • If an adult is too far away (more than ~16 blocks), the baby teleports directly to the adult's position to keep up.
    • Grow into full adults over time, at which point they gain trading ability and the ~1-in-6 chance of being a Nitwit applies.
    • When two Void Altar Villagers breed, the offspring is always a baby Void Altar Villager.

    Water and Rain Aversion

Like Endermen, Void Altar Villagers are harmed by water and rain. While in contact with water or caught in rain:

    • They take 1 damage (~0.5 hearts) every second (once per 20 game ticks).
    • They immediately attempt to teleport to nearby dry, covered ground to escape, with a short cooldown before trying again.
    • Teleport destinations are verified to be free of fluid and not exposed to rain — the villager will keep attempting escapes until safe or out of attempts.

Always keep your Void Altar Villager sheltered. Rain in the Overworld is a serious threat if you transport one there.

    Threat Teleportation

When a mob that has recently hurt the Void Altar Villager comes within about 5 blocks, it attempts to teleport up to ~8 blocks away. The Enderman teleport sound plays at both the origin and destination.

    • Threat cooldown: ~5 seconds between threat-triggered teleports.
    • Direct-hit escape: If something recently hurt the villager and is within ~5 blocks, it will also attempt to teleport, with a ~4-second cooldown.
    • Endermen are ignored — they never trigger teleportation.

    Nitwit Variation

Approximately 1-in-6 Void Altar Villagers spawn as Nitwits. They use a dedicated skin featuring a simpler purple robe and glowing purple eyes. Nitwits share the same stats, particle aura, water aversion, and teleportation behavior as standard adults but cannot hold a trading profession.

    Crafting And Obtaining

There are no crafting recipes in this mod. The Void Altar Villager Spawn Egg is only available in Creative mode. In Survival, the only ways to encounter Void Altar Villagers are:

    • Finding naturally spawned adults (and their baby companions) inside End City structures.
    • Breeding two adults to produce baby Void Altar Villagers.

    Progression And Strategy

    • Explore End Cities to find your first Void Altar Villager. Each city will generate one when you load the structure.
    • Secure it immediately. Seal the villager inside a small enclosure before fighting Shulkers or other nearby threats so it cannot teleport off a ledge or away from you.
    • Watch for babies. Adults often spawn with a baby companion — corral both at once so the baby doesn't wander off following the adult.
    • Shelter from water and rain at all times. Build a roof over your containment area, especially in the Overworld where rain can quickly kill an unprotected villager.
    • Breed for more. Once you have two adults sheltered and fed, breed them to build a supply of Void Altar Villagers without needing to find more End Cities.
    • Transport to the Overworld by guiding the contained villager through a portal — ensure it is always on dry, covered ground.
    • Its high health and speed make it far more resilient than ordinary villagers, and the constant particle aura makes it easy to track in dark End City corridors.
    • If you want the Nitwit skin specifically, keep using the spawn egg in Creative, or seek out multiple End Cities in Survival for a natural Nitwit roll.

This mod adds the Vanishing Stalker Zombie, a silent and unsettling variant of the zombie that follows players from a distance with an eerie gaze. Unlike regular zombies, this stalker moves slowly, makes no ambient sounds, and won't burn in daylight, allowing it to pursue you at any time. However, if you look directly at it, the Stalker will vanish in a cloud of smoke with an ominous sound, either teleporting to a new location up to 32 blocks away or disappearing entirely, making it a truly unpredictable threat.

The Villager Gladiator Champion is a combat-ready villager that roams the overworld and automatically picks up any weapons, tools, or armor it finds, equipping itself to become increasingly dangerous and using melee attacks against players in Survival while remaining peaceful to those in Creative or Spectator. It no longer spawns naturally and will persist in the world once present, so it can only be introduced by using its spawn egg or other manual spawning methods.

The Abyssal Void Maw is a terrifying Enderman-like creature — a dark void wrapped in thick black smoke that drifts through the world, devouring nearby blocks and items as it grows, spawning hostile Endermen and causing unsettling hallucinations when stared at. Its smoky tendrils lash out to strike and shove anyone within about five blocks, and staring briefly builds up nausea, blindness and mining fatigue that only kick in after a short delay (looking away stops the buildup); players can slow its growth by throwing Ender Pearls or temporarily stun it by trapping it in lava, and its ambient shroud and tendril impact bursts now appear as deep, inky black to match its void-like nature.

The Hibiscus Tigress Revenant is a formidable jungle warrior that spawns as a cautious but deadly opponent. This agile mob prefers to keep its distance and attack with ranged spear-like projectiles, but can engage in fierce melee combat when cornered. When injured, the Hibiscus Tigress Revenant becomes even more dangerous, gaining enhanced speed and jumping abilities, and may even teleport away to safety when near death.

This mod adds the Signal Strider, a mysterious mechanized version of the Strider that wanders the world with electric sparks and eerie chimes while periodically scanning for signals and responding to certain items or players. Normally neutral, it becomes a formidable foe if provoked—unleashing power surges that create bursts of flame and a disorienting weakening aura—while being immune to fire and boasting increased health and heightened senses, and it now spawns reliably without issues.
