Description:
The Kinetic Impact Gauntlet is a unique melee weapon that charges kinetic energy as you move around the world through running and jumping. When you strike an enemy with a fully charged gauntlet, it unleashes a powerful shockwave that launches targets in chaotic, unpredictable directions with varying knockback strength, though be careful—standing too close to your target will push you back as well. Right-click while holding the gauntlet to check your current energy level, and watch for the enchantment glint that appears when the gauntlet reaches 80% charge or higher.

User request: Create a Minecraft mod item called Kinetic Impact Gauntlet. The item is a single wearable gauntlet (no full armor set, no GUI). It is technology-based, not magic. Core behavior: When the player hits a mob with the gauntlet, it instantly releases stored kinetic energy, causing a shockwave-like explosion (not fire, not TNT). The explosion does small to medium damage, but its main effect is violent knockback. Knockback mechanics: The hit mob is launched in a random direction (upward, sideways, or backward). The direction is unpredictable to make each hit chaotic and fun. If the mob collides with a wall or the ground after being launched, it takes a bit of extra impact damage. Visuals and sound: No block destruction. Use air-pressure particles, dust, or subtle shockwave effects. A deep, muffled “impact boom” sound. Very brief camera shake on hit. Energy logic: The gauntlet passively charges from player movement (running, jumping, mining). Hitting a mob instantly releases the stored energy. There is a short cooldown; hitting too fast results in a weaker shockwave. Risk and balance: The player also receives a small knockback if standing too close to the target. Poor positioning (near cliffs or lava) can backfire. No one-shot kills. This item is about control and chaos, not raw DPS. Design goal: Make the gauntlet feel powerful, physical, and realistic, like advanced kinetic technology. No magic, no elemental effects, no time manipulation. It should feel dangerous, fun, and skill-based.
