Description:
The Fishing Net is a throwable tool, right‑click to toss it: when it lands in water it yields fishing loot (or a Clam) and if it hits a living creature it immobilizes them for 3 seconds; the net is single‑use and breaks after successfully catching loot or trapping a mob. This mod also adds Clams: a small pink, edible shell (found under Food & Drink) that restores 2 hunger with low saturation; Clams can be obtained with a 15% chance from a net water catch instead of normal loot and as a 15% extra drop from Drowned. If the textures doesn’t appear immediately, reload resources with F3+T or restart the game.
Manage versions and create new iterations of this mod.
This will create a new mod based on "Fishing Net and Clams" with your modifications. The original mod will remain unchanged and you'll be credited as the author of the remix.
This will create a new version of "Fishing Net and Clams" for Minecraft Java 1.20.1. The original mod will remain unchanged.

User request: Make an item called the "Fishing Net". It looks like a fishing net, with a blue color. Its throwable, and if it hits water when thrown, it will give the thrower random fishing loot. If it hits a mob instead it will make that mob stop moving for 3 seconds. both of these use cases result in the net breaking. its crafted with 4 string. Edit v2: Use the custom texture for the fishing net in game. Edit v3: add another new item called "Clam". It looks like a Clam, with a pink coloring. You can obtain this item either as a chance when you use a Fishing Net to fish, or a chance to drop from killing a Drowned. you can eat clams, giving a little bit of hunger.
