Description:
Day One Clover grants each player a single magical four‑leaf clover automatically on first join (also available in Creative); clovers stack to 16 and cannot be crafted — right‑click to eat one for Luck I for 30 seconds. Immediately after eating, your client opens the Creative Inventory and you are temporarily switched to Creative so you can use that screen freely; closing the Creative Inventory instantly restores your previous gamemode and normal inventory view. While a clover is held in either main or off‑hand you are effectively invulnerable (incoming damage canceled, harmful effects cleared every tick, extinguished, air refilled, freezing cleared, hunger/saturation kept full and continuous Regeneration I) and switching away stops these effects immediately; clovers vanish on the overworld day rollover or your first death (after that they drop on death and despawn after one second), and the server must have the mod installed for these rules to apply in multiplayer.
Manage versions and create new iterations of this mod.
This will create a new mod based on "Day One Clover" with your modifications. The original mod will remain unchanged and you'll be credited as the author of the remix.
This will create a new version of "Day One Clover" for Minecraft Java 1.20.1. The original mod will remain unchanged.

User request: Make a four leaf clover that spawns within then player's inventory and can be eaten, give a luck effect for 30 seconds. name the mod: 'Day one clover' Edit v2: Make the clover not craftable, only way of getting it is the first game spawn or creative mode Edit v3: Add an effect: Make the clover disappear upon death, even with 'keep inventory' on Edit v7: Is not working, the player is not spawning with the clover on their inventory fix it Edit v8: The clover still spawns when the player die. Make so the clover can only spawn once, at the beginning of the game Edit v9: The clover continue to be re-spawn with every death. Make a variable 'first death: false' that turn into 'First death: true' when the player dies once. Make this variable do nothing except count this first death. Then, IF this variable is true, make so the clover always is dropped from inventory. And make so the clover, when dropped, disappears in one second Edit v10: Add effect: While holding the clover in hand or on the off-hand slot, the player gains invulnerability to all physical attacks, damage, debuffs and drowning/burning. But, after exactly 24000 ticks, when the in game time say 24000, the 'first death' flag will turn true, making the clover disappear as if the player died Edit v11: Add an effect: While holding the clover, player will be full in hunger points, and get a regeneration boost while holding it. Of course, this effect don't alter or change the other effects Edit v12: Add effect: This one is tricky. When consumed, in addition to the luck for 30 seconds, the player open automatically the creative inventory. They can use whenever they want, but once closed they come back to normal survival inventory.
