Description:
Summoner's Sword lets you capture mob souls by killing mobs with the blade — it records mob type and equipment and stores up to ten souls you can summon or dismiss to fight by your side. Mobs hit by the sword will become "Targeted." Summoned mobs will attack targeted mobs.
Manage versions and create new iterations of this mod.
This will create a new mod based on "Summoner's Sword" with your modifications. The original mod will remain unchanged and you'll be credited as the author of the remix.
This will create a new version of "Summoner's Sword" for Minecraft Java 1.20.1. The original mod will remain unchanged.

User request: Make a sword. when a mob is killed by the sword. the player can press right click and the mobs who were previous killed will be summoned and not hostile to the player. pressing right click after mobs have been summoned will unsummon the mobs when a mob is hit by the sword, that mob will become "targeted." summoned mobs will attack targeted mobs if they are within their attack range. summons mobs will follow the player. summoned mobs will behave and attack targeted mobs the same way they attack players. for example, a creeper will go up and exploded on a targeted mob. Edit v2: make it so that if a summoned mob dies, they cant be resummoned. make it so that summoned mobs will track and follow targeted mobs. summoned mobs' attacks shouldn't damage the player. for example, if a summoned creep explodes next to the player, the blast wont damage the player or other summoned mods or damamge blocks. Edit v3: summond mobs should attack how they normally would, so a summond creeper should explode when next to targetted mob and summonded skeleton should attack with bow and arrow for example Edit v4: MAKE SURE THAT WHEN A mob is summoned, any items they had when they died is remembered and so that when they are summoned they will still have those same items. for example, if a skeleton has a bow when it dies, when a player summons it, it will still have a bow, wither skeletons should have a sword, pillagers should have a cross bow, ect... Also make it so that when summoned creeepers explode, they cant be summoned again Edit v6: make it so if a wither is killed and summoned, it doesn't attack the player Edit v7: make it so that summoned withers only attack targeted mobs and not other summoned mobs Edit v8: make it so the end dragon can be captured and summoned Edit v9: make the sword item model rotate clockwise 90 degrees so its upward in the habd Edit v11: completely remake the image and model for the sword Edit v12: the sword needs to be rotated 45 degrees clockwise, ensure that the model is rotated Edit v18: IT SHOULDBER BEEN ROTATED IN THE OTHER DIRECTION, FIX IT Edit v19: make the model smaller Edit v20: make it so summoned mobs cant damage other summoned mobs Edit v21: change name of mod and item to "Summoner's Sword". make it Edit v22: Change the text above summoned mobs to "Summoned Soul" instead of constript Edit v23: there a bug when a summoned mob is summoned and the player leaves the game and returns, the summoned mob is still there but no long can be controlled by the player(resets back to defult mechanics for the mob) fix this
