Description:
The Carbon Converter breaks down items into charcoal based on their carbon value (100 carbon = 1 charcoal) and awards a small amount of experience; right-click the block to open its furnace-style GUI, place up to nine items in the input grid to view total carbon and expected charcoal output (CV and Output update immediately), then click the Carbonize button to perform the conversion. The interface keeps its dark modern look, moving stripe animation and gently bobbing charcoal hologram while now featuring improved spacing, padding and perfectly aligned slots and buttons for a cleaner, more precise, and less cramped experience.

User request: Title: Carbon Converter Block Purpose: A 1x1x1 full-cube utility block that converts any inserted items into charcoal based on their relative value. Designed as a recycler-style block with a modern GUI and scalable mechanics for datapacks or mods. Core Mechanics: - Block Size: 1x1x1 full cube model (opaque, solid). - Interaction: Right-click opens a custom GUI. - Input: Accepts any item, including modded items. - Processing: - Each item has a Carbon Value (CV). - Total CV from all inputs determines charcoal output. - Items are consumed on conversion. - Output: - Produces charcoal only. - Output amount = floor(Total CV ÷ 100). - Safeguards: - Conversion button disabled if no valid output. - Charcoal cannot be reprocessed. - Value System: - CV values stored via tags, scoreboards, or datapack logic. - [Assumed] Unknown items default to a low CV unless tagged. GUI & UX (Modern UI): - Style: Minimalist, modern, dark-themed interface. - Layout: - 6–9 input slots arranged in a clean grid (center-left). - 1 output slot on the right (charcoal-only). - 1 action button labeled “Convert” or “Carbonize”. - Button Behavior: - Disabled when no valid inputs are present. - Subtle glow or highlight when conversion is possible. - Feedback: - Tooltip showing Total Carbon Value and Expected Output. - Brief progress animation or pulse on conversion. - Audio: - Soft furnace/ash sound effect on successful conversion. Progression (XP / Prestige): - Optional: Small XP reward per successful conversion. - Future-ready progression: - Higher-tier versions improve CV efficiency. - Example: +10% / +25% output efficiency at higher tiers. Visuals: - Block Texture: - Industrial or modern aesthetic. - Dark stone or metal casing. - Subtle ember/vent detail (static by default). - GUI Visuals: - Flat icons, smooth borders. - Clean spacing and no vanilla clutter. Balance Notes: - Low-value items (dirt, sticks, seeds) give minimal CV. - High-value items (diamonds, netherite, rare mod items) give higher CV but are capped to prevent abuse. - Not intended as a primary fuel generator. - Designed as a recycling / fallback resource system. Optional Enhancements: - Tiered Blocks: - Basic, Advanced, Industrial Carbon Converter. - Upgrade Slot: - Speed upgrade - Efficiency upgrade - Bonus output chance - Automation: - Hopper-compatible input/output. - Visual Feedback: - Smoke or ash particles emitted during conversion. - Mod Integration: - Optional support for EMC-like or rarity-based value systems. Edit v2: use the texture provided for the block Edit v3: using the texture provided change only the sides of the block , do not change the face texture Edit v4: using the provided texture change only the bottom of the block texture, keep the face and the sides the same as they are now Edit v6: using the provided texture change the blocks top face with the one provided, keep all other faces texture the same as they are now Edit v8: the blocks texture should be using separate textures each for the faces fix this it looks like one texture applied to all faces, they should be separate front is front bottom is bottom top is top sides are sides Edit v9: the cv and output are under a grey box fix the gui nothing should overlap everything should be readable and neat rebuild the gui and ui Edit v10: Rebuild this GUI using a furnace-style layout with clear input, processing, and output sections. Improve alignment, grouping, and visual hierarchy only. Edit v11: Item rendering, slot background, and click hitbox must share the same origin, size, and anchor. No offsets are allowed unless explicitly defined. Edit v12: Make the interface more spacious and professional-looking. Add more padding and margins between all elements - the grid slots should have more space between them, the text labels need more breathing room. Make sure everything is evenly aligned and distributed. The CV and Output numbers should have consistent spacing from their labels. Make the 'Carbonize' button smaller and more compact. Overall, increase the whitespace throughout the entire interface to make it feel less cramped and more polished. Important: For all inventory slots, the item rendering, slot background, and click hitbox must share exactly the same origin point, size, and anchor position. They need to be perfectly aligned with no offsets between them unless I specifically tell you to add an offset." Edit v13: remove the text : inventory, from the gui, also make the cv show like for example cv:0, and output the same output:0, the numbers right next to the name Edit v14: make the block emit light level 15, also make the block have a hologram emitting from the top of the block showing a piece of Minecraft charcoal Edit v15: make the gui background animated Edit v16: Improve the overall spacing and layout to look professional. Increase padding and margins between all UI elements. Ensure consistent alignment and distribution throughout. Add more whitespace to prevent cramping. All interactive elements must have their visual appearance and clickable area perfectly aligned - same origin, same size, same anchor, zero offset unless explicitly specified
