Description:
The Emerald Capsule is a placeable item that instantly deploys and packs up a preset structure (newly crafted capsules default to the Cottage); right-click to deploy at your current Y level and right-click the deployed structure again to pack it up, orientation is fixed and capsules cannot capture your own builds while already-initialized capsules retain their stored preset. This update makes pack-ups clean: support-dependent blocks (beds, doors, torches, ladders, carpets, signs, etc.) are removed without dropping items and inventories are cleared before removal to prevent loose drops, and double chests captured as pairs are restored as double chests after redeployment so long as the two chests are adjacent and face the same way. Works in both survival and creative.

This will create a new mod based on "Capsule Architect" with your modifications. The original mod will remain unchanged and you'll be credited as the author of the remix.
This will create a new version of "Capsule Architect" for Minecraft Java 1.20.1. The original mod will remain unchanged.

User request: create a “Capsule Device” which lets the player capture, store, and redeploy structures. The player can craft a capsule, place it on the ground, and activate it to scan and save a selected area of blocks into the capsule. Once stored, the capsule becomes an item containing that structure. The player can then throw or place the capsule to instantly rebuild the saved structure at a new location, maintaining all blocks, chests, entities, and orientation. Capsules should be reusable, have different size tiers, and include safeguards to prevent overwriting existing builds. The mod should support loading and unloading structures smoothly, work in survival and creative mode, and save captured structures to the world or player data so they persist between sessions. Edit v2: delete blocks that have been "captured". once structure is captured, capsule can no longer capture any other structure. it now remembers only that structure and when right click it will deploy the saved structure if it isn't already deployed, and if it is deployed, then it when update any entities or changes to structure and delete the deployed structure. the idea is to have a mobile base, much like setting up a tent and taking it down. Edit v3: make it so you can undeploy the structure now. Edit v4: make it so that when undeploying stored items dont drop on the ground when the entities are deleted. Edit v5: after a structure is captured, while holding the Capsule Architect show an ghost block outline of the structure. Edit v6: when deploying, always deploy the side the player captured the structure on, facing the player. Edit v7: make it so that the first right click sets the front of the structure. then the next one captures the first corner of the structure and then the 3rd right click sets the structure. now show the the block that was set as the front of the structure is highlighted in a different color in the ghost blocks. this way the player knows which way the front is facing before they deploy Edit v8: lock orientation of the structure and keep all blocks facing the same way when it was captured. when deploying allow a shift right click to rotate clockwise by increments of 90 degrees. post a chat message stating what degree rotation its on, 90, 180, 270, back to facing the player. Edit v9: allow deployment based on where ghost blocks are positioned without the need to right click a block to deploy. allow right click in mid air to deploy. Edit v10: make the captured blocks keep their direction placed aligned to the front of the structure. so that all blocks rotate according to the shift right click. Edit v11: lock all blocks direction facing when capturing and undeploying. rotate all blocks the same direction as when the player shifts right clicks. allow player to place ghost image up to 3 times further away. Edit v12: when rotating, rotate all blocks at the same time and same direction. rotate the structure as a whole. each shift right click makes it go 90 degrees clock wise. Edit v13: make the ghost blocks a faint preview of what blocks they are. when deploying scan the area and always place the structure on the ground, directly below where the ghost blocks are plave. even if the player tries to deploy in mid air. Edit v14: deploy at same Y level as player, deleting things like gras and flowers. but not full blocks. Edit v15: remove the rotation feature on deploy. Edit v16: make it so that torches and doors are deleted too when undeploying. anything that needs another block to support it example; paintings Edit v17: when structure pack up, don't let anything that was apart of the structure drop to the ground. Edit v18: find a way to prevent things on blocks, such as torches and doors, from dropping when packing up/undeploying Edit v19: now make different items for the different tier sizes. small, medium and large. small made with iron ingot, medium with gold ingot and large made with diamond. Edit v20: now add one made with an emerald that you cant capture your own structure but comes with a prebuilt castle that you can deploy and undeploy Edit v21: make the emerald one prebuilt structure more fancy. something medieval Edit v23: instead of a castle, make the emerald capsule spawn a small cottage like house. Edit v24: prevent blocks from dropping when undeploying structure. such as bed. double chests become single chests again, keep them double when moving structure.
