Quickstart
- Craft the Azure Magnet Staff at a Crafting Table using the recipe below.
- Hold it in your hand and use it (right-click / tap the Use Item button) to fire a magnetic wave.
- Watch the band of blue orbs ripple forward in a sine-wave pattern — anything caught in its path gets blasted away.
- Wait out the 20-second cooldown before firing again. If you try too soon, you'll hear a dull click.

How To Use
- Fire the wave — Use the staff while holding it. A band of glowing blue orbs spawns just in front of you at eye level and travels up to 20 blocks in the direction you're looking.
- Knockback — Any entity the wave passes through is pushed ~4 blocks horizontally and lifted slightly upward. The caster is never hit by their own wave.
- Cooldown — Each use triggers a 20-second cooldown. During the cooldown the staff plays a low click sound if you try to fire and does nothing else.
- Collision follows visuals — The wave's hit detection matches the sine-wave shape you see. If you see orbs pass through an enemy, that enemy takes the knockback.
Abilities And Mechanics
The Magnetic Wave
- The wave is a moving band roughly 4+ blocks wide and undulates vertically in a sine-wave pattern as it travels.
- It advances at 0.5 blocks per tick and expires after reaching 20 blocks.
- Entities are only knocked back once per wave — they cannot be hit multiple times by the same cast.
- A high-pitched sound effect fires when the wave is launched, giving clear audio feedback.
Durability & Repair
- The staff loses 1 durability per use (100 % damage chance).
- Repair it in an Anvil using Gold Ingots (64 durability restored per ingot).
Enchanting
- The staff can be enchanted in an Enchanting Table or Anvil using sword-slot enchantments (e.g., Unbreaking to extend its life).
- Enchantability value is 12.
Crafting And Obtaining
The staff is crafted at a Crafting Table. The recipe unlocks once you have Blue Ice or a Blaze Rod in your inventory.
