The Ascendant Blade is a Netherite sword that grows ever more formidable as you slay mobs: every 10 kills it magically repairs itself, ensuring you stay in the fight. Once you reach 50 kills, each subsequent defeat grants you a random positive potion effect for 10 seconds, with the effect’s strength increasing at every 50-kill milestone. At 100 kills (and again every 100 kills thereafter), the blade’s swings cleave nearby foes for half your base damage. Simply equip the blade and rack up kills—your total kills, next milestones, and active boons are all displayed in the tooltip.
