Description:
This mod adds the Death Note, a hand-held notebook that records nearby mobs and lets you eliminate them through an in-game notebook UI. Right-click to open the notebook; stay within 3 blocks of a mob for 4 seconds to automatically transfer its name into the pages as a clickable entry (duplicates are numbered like zombie, zombie1, zombie2); click a name to "write" it — the notebook closes, a red DELETE textbox shakes for about 0.5 seconds with a scary cave sound, and the targeted mob dies 5 seconds later, with all past kills and pending names shown in the UI and saved permanently using Minecraft time.
Manage versions and create new iterations of this mod.
This will create a new mod based on "Death Note" with your modifications. The original mod will remain unchanged and you'll be credited as the author of the remix.

User request: The object must be a black notebook with "death note" written on it. To use this notebook, you must be next to a mob for more than 4 seconds. Once you achieve this, you have 3 seconds to use the notebook and press a button called "DELETE", the "DELETE" button needs to be a red button that will appear in the middle of the screen, waving, that says "DELETE", when the red "DELETE" button appears the player has to hold right click and then, the notebook will change its texture to an open version of the notebook one and a fast writing animation will start.If all this is done correctly, after 5 seconds that mob will die, and the date and time of death will be added to the notebook (the player's real calendar can be used if necessary). Edit v2: If you have the notebook in your hand and right-click, a UI will open with a notebook design featuring slightly yellowed pages and black lines. Under each line is a name. If someone has already been killed, the record remains. To modify the mod, if you stay next to the mob long enough, its name will be transferred to the notebook and appear as a button that you must click to kill it. Once you do, the record will be saved (if the name is repeated, numbers will be added, for example: zombie, zombie1, zombie2...). Once the button is pressed, in addition to the record, the notebook UI will close, and a red text box will appear on the screen for half a second, shaking and displaying the word "DELETE" along with a minecraft scary cave sound.
